Churros garland with pear ice cream and chocolate sauce

Churros with hot chocolate sauce tastes irresistible. Served as a wreath with a ball of ice cream and juicy pear slices.

Ingredients (4 servings):

• 300 g Aviko Churros
• 125 ml long-life whipped cream (pack)
• 125 g dark chocolate
• 1 juicy hand pear
• 500 ml vanilla ice cream
• Small ice cream scoop


Preparation time: 20 minutes

• Heat the whipping cream in a saucepan.
• Break 100 grams of chocolate into cubes and add to the cream. Heat gently and stir into a smooth chocolate sauce.
• Prepare the churros according to the instructions on the packet.
• Meanwhile, halve the pear and remove the core. Cut the pear into wedges.
• Arrange the churros and pear segments alternately in a wreath shape on a large flat dish. Top with small scoops of ice cream. Pour a little chocolate sauce over the ice cream. Serve the rest in a small bowl to dip the churros in. Grate the rest of the chocolate over it and serve immediately.

Tip: Also delicious with (ready-made) stewed pears!
