Aviko has created value from potatoes for more than 50 years and, since its establishment in 1962, Aviko has grown to become a European market leader of fresh, frozen and dried potato products. Aviko is also one of the four largest potato processors in the world. Aviko is backed by the financial strength of the Dutch company Royal Cosun, with its annual turnover of € 1.9 billion. This allows us to invest in our continued growth.
Aviko is part of Royal Cosun - an organization with over 100 years' experience of processing agricultural products into natural food products and ingredients. With household names such as Suiker Unie, Van Gilse and Aviko, this cooperative has a presence in the food processing industry as well as the foodservice and retail sectors.
In total, Royal Cosun has approximately 10,000 members/shareholders and more than 4,000 employees. Royal Cosun attaches much value to Corporate Social Responsibility.

Aviko Potato Products
Aviko Potato is the largest division within the Aviko group. It is engaged in the production and sales of potato products. This takes place from 'land to customer': potatoes are purchased by our own Aviko Potato purchasing organization, and subsequently processed into chilled or frozen potato products in one of our 12 factories in Europe.

Aviko Granules & Flakes
The second branch Aviko Rixona, is purely engaged in dried potato products. In this branch, potatoes are processed into mashed potatoes, dried and then converted into flakes and granules according to recipe.
