Pizza-Style Loaded Fries

Faster than pizza, these loaded fries with meatballs in pizza sauce, velvety mozzarella and pesto mayonnaise.

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 600 g Aviko Wavy Blends Garlic & Herbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 beef meatballs (chilled)
  • 1 can of pizza sauce (400 g)
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp green pesto
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 sprigs of basil

Method

Preparation time: 20 minutes

  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the meatballs for 2-3 minutes until brown on all sides. Add the pizza sauce and stew the meatballs for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare the Wavy fries according to the instructions on the packaging.
  • Tear the mozzarella into pieces. Mix the pesto with the mayonnaise.
  • Spoon the Wavy fries onto a board or 4 plates. Divide the pizza balls with sauce and mozzarella on top.
  • Pipe or spoon dots of pesto mayonnaise on the fries. Sprinkle with the oregano and leaves from the basil sprigs.
