Argentinian empanadas filled with meat and olives, served with hot jalapeno balls

Preparation

Fry ground beef in some oil with a diced onion and strained tomatoes. Flavor with chili pepper, salt and ground cumin. Gently fry, reduce and add the chopped black olives at the last minute. Spread the cooled beef mixture among 20 - 25 circles of puff pastry. Fold over, pressing the edges of the pastry with a fork to seal. Brush the empanadas with lightly beaten egg or some milk and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 220ºC. Prepare Jalapeno Snacks according to the instrucions on the package.

Serving

Serve empanadas together with Jalapeno Snacks in separate bowls. Add the tasty & spicy salsa in a separate bowl.

Tip

The perfect addition will be salad made of zucchini, eggplant, corn and tomato.
